So today we’re starting potty training. After actually giving birth, potty training is the part of having a baby that I feared most when I got pregnant the first time, and that fear hasn’t abated any in the last 18 months. So far I’ve been periodically taking her to her little potty every hour or so and hoping that something will magically land in the bowl. No luck so far. She really likes sitting on it, but she wants to sit on the edge, so she’s not really over the hole. It’s maybe a little early, but I’m determined she’s going to be out of diapers by the time she becomes a big sister. That gives us 23 weeks.
